'And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.' 2 Timothy 2:2 Grow International Ministries is a collaboration of missionaries, Pastors, lay workers, and organizations, who share a common desire to bring together the different gifts that the Lord has blessed us with so that we can further the Great Commission to the best of our abilities. Many of us are from different mission agencies or churches but we come together with a shared vision for furthering the Lord's work. LEADERSHIP - Helping to equip Pastors, Lay Leaders, and National Missionaries is a passion of ours. These men and women are reaching out to their communities and far beyond into unreached people groups, often putting themselves into incredibly dangerous situations. Through a willingness on all of our parts as Christians, we can help by connecting our network of fellow Christians to provide free training, books, and other Christian materials for them. All of us are a link in the chain! MEN'S OUTREACH- Studies show that if a man is reached first for Christ in his household, there is close to a 90% chance that the rest of his family members will follow in a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their savior. Many men in the Philippines have little problem with allowing their wives and children to attend church but they themselves will often spend that time with other men or what they call their 'Barkada'. Our approach to reaching out to these men is through avenues that strongly appeal to them. Agricultural & Vocational training has proven to be a successful connection! Our desire is to help them better provide for their families and for us to build lasting friendships. When they see that we truly care for them, we then have the platform for sharing the hope that Jesus Christ has to offer! OUTREACH TO WOMEN: There is a tremendous need for women in third world countries to receive education and care with their prenatal and birthing needs. So many women and children are affected through an inability to obtain affordable health care and a lack of proper education about nutritional needs & ongoing care for their babies. In partnership with fellow missionaries, we are assisting with sharing the love of God and meeting the needs of these women & children. |
