News From The Bucher's

Hi Everyone,

First off, Happy New Year to all of you!  We hope that you had a wonderful holiday season celebrating Christ's birth.  As we start the new year,  I wanted to share with you a list of praises for what's been going on in the ministry & a few prayer requests.

PRAYER:

*  We would appreciate your prayers as we continue to look for sponsors for the children at our partnership orphanage.  You can visit our website at:  www.GrowOurWorld.com  or email us
for specific information on each of the kids.

*  We continue to work towards our goal of creating a health care curriculum for pregnant women, that can also be used in multiple countries.  Our caution in developing this is to make sure that we are creating something that is truly usable & not simply repetitive.   We would appreciate your prayers for this!

*  Please pray for wisdom as we research the possibility of starting a resale shop to benefit our ministry and other ministries stateside.  Our good friends at Small World Connections, have had a tremendous amount of success with this approach to 'business-as-missions' and they have offered to help coach us.

*  Many of you know that we started www.GrowAthletics.com
this past year.  We so appreciate all the encouragement we have received from you for this livelihood project!  Please continue to pray for the success of this approach to ministry!

PRAISES:

* A donation recently came in for GROW that allowed us to help one of our ministry partners provide a large amount of Bibles to the homeless in Manila. What's great about this is that these aren't just random people on the streets, but ones who have been regularly seeing the love of Christ each week through meals & attention to other physical needs!

* We were able to ship off a large box full of gifts for the kids in our partnering orphanage. A special thanks to the Deck family for helping to make this happen!

*  We just received word that all of our sows in our sustainable pig project, are pregnant! This is one of our livelihood projects that we're really excited about and is a very realistic way to help a large number of Pastors, National Missionaries, & other Christian Lay Workers, provide a renewable source of income for their families & ministries.

* We received donations over the last two months so that we can add two more sows now for the pig project ( PTL )!

*  We have been talking with Dennis & Jonathon ( our Filipino training partners ) about putting together 'Universal' information on sustainable gardening that we can then put into manual form and make available internationally. They are praying about this now. This would be extremely exciting and give us a way to help missionaries & others in ministry all around the world!

Thank you all SO much for your love, prayers, & support for our family and ministry!!!

Much Love,

Mike, Natalie, Ethan, Ellie, Anna, & Alex
